All cases are in Karabar.
The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) was notified of the case in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Although there were no new venues of concern, everyone in the district should be alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19, including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever.
If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received.
Meanwhile, NSW recorded 177 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
One new case was acquired overseas, and 12 cases have been excluded following further investigation. The total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic is 75,089.
Sadly, we are today reporting the death of a woman in her 70s from south-western Sydney who died at Concord Hospital. She was not vaccinated.
We express our sincere condolences to her loved ones.
