Great businesses have great employees.
That's definitely the case for Studio 4 Signs and Designs as they were voted as Goulburn's favourite business service at the Business 2580 Awards night.
Employee Amanda McNamara was also named outstanding employee at the awards night.
Studio 4 cowner Liz Townsend was delighted with the achievement and spoke very highly of Ms McNamara.
"After six years of business in town, we are very proud of what we have achieved and very thankful for the support that we've received," Ms Townsend said.
"It has been rewarding to work with so many local businesses, creating their branding and seeing it come to life on shopfronts and vehicles.
"Amanda was surprised to win the award but we could not have asked for a better employee.
"After joining our team two years ago, she has taken on our business and clients like they were her own, always going above and beyond to create the best possible outcome for our customers."
The team also consists of Wayne Croker, Virginia Barlow, Angela Cooper and Brian Nicholson who all take pride in what they do.
A lot of businesses struggled during lockdown, but Studio 4 was able to continue running.
"Our business has survived surprisingly well during lockdown," Ms Townsend said.
"Although our doors were locked for a few weeks, it didn't stop our workflow as most of our customers contacted us via phone and email.
"We worked for many businesses that were essential like mine sites, quarries, the NSW Police Force and the ambulance which didn't stop, so neither did the work they required.
"We are very lucky to be in the field of work we are."
Ms Townsend thanked the community for the support and said it was great to see so many locals involved in celebrating local businesses.
