The anticipation for the opening of the Goulburn Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) is now bigger than ever.
While we await the opening of the venue in March, the first tickets are about to become available for purchase.
Ticket sales to a select number of GPAC shows will be available from 3pm on Tuesday, November 23 and the Performing Arts Centre manager Raina Savage said there would be a wide range of shows to interest a variety of people.

"From when the doors open, we will have something happening just about every weekend, and often during the week with school shows and seniors concerts," Ms Savage said.
"We are launching our own curated season program as part of the official opening, but to whet your appetite, we are kicking things off with sales to a select and very diverse array of shows put on by commercial hirers."
People will be able to choose from country music, classic Aussie pop, Irish dance, outrageous drag, and some of Australia's best tribute shows.
Locals can also sign up for an exclusive Premium Membership Package which includes tickets to the VIP Preshow Season Launch, commemorative merchandise, exclusive members' events throughout the year and generous membership offers.
In the meantime, Ms Savage said the centre, which is almost complete, was looking fantastic.
"The technical fit-out is still being completed, but other than that, there's a few things that need fine tuning like the location of all the data points and connections," she said.
"The bulk of the work has been done and we're just putting the finishing touches on different rooms and parts of the building.
"The carpet and seating needs to go in too, but that's the last thing to do."
As for the staff, most of the permanent roles have been filled.
"We have had our technical coordinator and our box office and marketing person on board since August," Ms Savage said.

"A few weeks ago, we brought on our venue coordinator and are currently in the process of recruiting our technician who is the final permanent position.
"We're also currently looking for duty managers, front of house staff and back of house casuals.
"Applications have closed for those positions and we'll be interviewing them in the upcoming weeks."
