The NSW Government earlier this month announced that restrictions surrounding masks, vaccinations and QR code check-ins would be significantly rolled back.
However the Soldiers Club will still require visitors to show proof of vaccination for at least the Christmas and New year period.
The club said they were still wary of COVID in the community, especially the Delta variant, and have already implemented a mandatory vaccination policy for staff.
"We will not be opening our doors to unvaccinated patrons from December 15, even though the State Government will allow those who haven't been double vaccinated against COVID-19 to enjoy the same freedoms others have since October when December 15 rolls around," a statement from the club read on Facebook.
"We will be safety first and unvaccinated patrons will not be permitted entry over the Christmas/New Year period.
"The health and wellbeing of our patrons and staff is our number one priority. QR code check-in and proof of vaccination will still be required upon entry to the club.
"The Delta variant of COVID-19 is highly infectious and has had a devastating impact in Australia and around the world. It is expected to remain in the community for the foreseeable future.
"As a community orientated organization, the club's main priority is, and will always be, the safety of its workers, officers, members, guests and the community that it serves," the statement continued.
Meanwhile, Goulburn Workers Club will allow unvaccinated patrons into the premises but reiterated that could change in line with health advice.
"Like we've done throughout the whole pandemic we're just following the advice and guidelines from NSW Health and the government," CEO Brett Gorham told the Post.
"If they adjust them we'll look at that accordingly."
The Goulburn Soldiers Club has been contacted for further comment.
