A second man has died after being electrocuted on a Goulburn district property on Christmas eve.

Inspector Matt Hinton confirmed that a 29-year-old Kensington man passed away at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital on December 29.

He had been transferred there from Goulburn Base Hospital after he was electrocuted at a Boxers Creek Road property, 14km east of Goulburn on December 24.
Emergency services were called to the holding at about 4.30pm following reports that two men had suffered an electric shock.
Police said the men had pushed a steel gate which hit overhead powerlines and arced into high voltage wires. Earlier, an ambulance spokesman said the two had been carrying metal fencing when it struck the powerlines.

A Toll helicopter with a critical care paramedic and a doctor onboard was dispatched to the scene. Four road ambulance crews, police and fire authorities also attended.
A 31-year old man from Canberra died at the scene.
Inspector Hinton said the men were hobby farmers. He could not provide further details, citing investigations and a corononial report.
