Superhero Story Party
- January 20, Goulburn Mulwaree Library, 10.30am-12pm
Children over the age of three have the opportunity to create and decorate their own superhero masks, shields and wrist cuffs, and listen to some adventure stories. Morning tea is provided and guardians and carers are required to stay.
It is a free event, and registration is required. You can register here.
Movie releases
- From January 20, Lilac Cinema
Two new movies will be shown in Goulburn this week. Tablelanders can watch two animals go on a hilarious adventure with Around the World in 80 Days, and watch the family of a fashion empire in the House of Gucci.

Open Mic Night
- January 21, Goulburn Club, 7.30-10.30pm
Tablelanders have the chance to perform songs, poetry or even some comedy this week. Everyone is welcome to participate - acts will have 10 to 15 minutes to perform. There is a whiteboard when you enter, so write your name down and show everyone what you've got!
Goulburn Speedway Race Night
- January 22, Goulburn Speedway, 4-10pm
Come along for a night full of cars like Junior Sedans, compact speed cars, legend cars and GP Midget's this week.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Attendees must abide by COVID guidelines and sign in with QR codes upon arrival.
Author talk with Amanda Heal
- January 22, Goulburn Mulwaree Library, 2.30-3.30pm
Amanda Heal will talk about her book Seeing By Vision Not By Sight: How To Discover Your Life's Purpose And Put it Into Action. The author will also share her tips on how to be courageous, how to take control of a situation and have a level head.
The event is free, but registration is essential. You can secure your spot here.
Goulburn Parkrun
- January 22, off Fitzroy Street, Goulburn, 8-9am
This weekly activity gives locals of all ages and abilities the chance to take part in a five kilometre run and connect with others.
Attendees must register before they come along, and can bring a printed copy of their barcodes if they want to be timed on the day. They can register and learn more by emailing goulburnhelpers@parkrun.com.
Unique Boutique Markets at Marulan
- January 23, 69 George Street, Marulan, 10am-2pm
Markets in Marulan are back this month. Discover a range of local businesses and food stalls. Kids can enjoy activities like plaster painting.
Sunday Sessions
- January 23, Goulburn Club, 1pm - 5pm
Kick back and relax, or even bring your vocal chords and instrument along this weekend. A mix of Australian, folk, Americana and Celtic songs will be performed.
Tablelanders can enjoy Aussie songs from 1pm to 3pm, and Americana hits from 3pm to 5pm.
Goulburn community bike ride
- January 23, Carr Confoy Oval, Charlotte Street, Goulburn, 10am-2pm
Members of the community are invited to come along for a five kilometre bike ride this weekend.
Helmet checks will be conducted at 10am and the ride will commence at 10.30am. Riders can return to the oval afterwards for a free BBQ and drinks. Three bikes, 17 helmets and bike accessories will also be given away on the day.
Attendees are encouraged to register online and provide a gold coin donation on the day to participate. All proceeds will be donated to the Men's Shed.
Bungonia Sunday Breakfast
- January 23, Bungonia Community Hall, 9-11am
Come along for this weekly breakfast ran by the Bungonia Progress Association and local volunteers. All proceeds go back to the Bungonia Press Association INC to keep the hall open.
Attendees can enjoy foods like an English breakfast for four dollars, a bacon and egg roll for five dollars, freshly made coffee for four dollars and pancakes with maple syrup, jam, butter and cream for four dollars.

Kids Summer Reading Club
- Until January 28, Goulburn Mulwarree Library
Kids can grab a welcome pack and start reading over the summer holidays. Young readers can redeem Summer Reading Club coupons and log their books for the Summer Reading Club market.
Goulburn Bustle
- Until January 28, Goulburn Regional Gallery, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 12-4 pm
The gallery's permanent exhibition will take over the gallery's main exhibition space with new acquisitions, hidden gems and favourites from previous showcases.
The collection has been curated by the gallery's team, and is the last exhibition of 2021, and a welcome to 2022.
Adult's Summer Reading Challenge
- Until January 31, Goulburn Mulwaree Library
You can be in the running to win vouchers from places like Lilac City Cinema, Shop 2580 and the Bookshop Bowral. Tablelanders need to complete a registration form at the library and will receive a goodie bag. The reading challenge has an around the world theme.
