In overcast conditions 10 riders turned out to race against the clock to see who could post the quickest time for the 20km race.

The course started at the cemetery with riders making the steady climb to the turnaround point just past Dennys Lane. From the turnaround it is a mad dash to the finish line back at the cemetery.
Riders set out at 30 second intervals and with no drafting permitted had to battle the elements on their own.
Cameron Roberts posted the fastest time completing the course in 28 minutes at an average speed of 43km/hr.
Jordan Rowlands finished in second place posting an impressive time of 29 minutes at 40km/hr with James Quade in third place.
Wayne Bensley took out B Grade from Gavin Moroney While in C Grade Mark Stutchbury took the honours from Chris Berry and Nadine Moroney.
Next Wednesday 9 Feb 2022 racing is at Wakefield Park for Grade Scratch Races. Sign on by 5.45pm with racing at 6.15pm. New riders are welcome.
