Originally planned for Saturday, April 3, unfavorable weather predictions and the current conditions on site forced organisers to cancel the event.
Goulburn Rotary president, Geoff Thrower, said it would have been unsafe to proceed with the event.
"It's just too wet," he said.
The Swap Meet is now in its 33rd year and attracts more than 5000 attendees through the gates of the Goulburn Recreation Area each year. It is the largest Swap Meet in NSW.
Mr Thrower said stallholders were disappointed but understood the situation.
"Cancellations have really been happening everywhere this weekend," he said.
So far Rotary has been unable to find an alternative date for the event but will contact stallholders if anything changes.
