The feat came only a week after he took out the City of Adelaide Titles, a junior competition.
The most impressive part of that achievement was the fact not everything went to plan.
"I started in second place for the final and with a great start went to the lead by the first corner," Toparis said.
"Throughout the race, I continued to increase my lead and with a demanding gap to second, it looked like an easy win.
"Unfortunately, a full course yellow appeared with two laps to go which brought the field back together.
"At the restart, where I was given a 3 second penalty, I was overtaken with a slipstream on the first corner but quickly retaliated by overtaking skilfully on one of the more difficult corners.
"I believe I demonstrated my ability to race for the win yet again and passed the finish line first."
There are more races to come in the year for both the junior and senior competitions, with times accumulated.
Adding to that, Toparis, who is in his final year of karting as he will be transitioning into cars, will travel to Europe throughout the year to take part in races and
He is also hoping to gain a spot at the World Championships in Portugal in November.
Toparis thanked Grangers Freight Lines and Wakefield park which are huge supporters of him.
