Representing her locality of Wayo for the young agricultural judges and paraders competitions at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, it was her grandparents that she most wanted to make proud.

Local rider showcases Goulburn RDA for Princess Anne at Royal Easter Show

Sienna competed in three different competitions receiving a ribbon for each, but was most excited about placing as reserve champion in the Fitting Challenge.

She said the Fitting Challenge involved judges throwing water and sawdust onto the cattle.

Contestants then had five minutes to brush off their cattle and enter them into the ring for parading.

Sienna attends Trinity Catholic College in Goulburn and said while she would take up agricultural opportunities at school, she mainly learnt from her grandparents.

"At school we mainly do things with sheep, but my grandparents have a cattle farm," Sienna said.

"I'm definitely more passionate about cattle, I'm hoping to start my own stud one day."

Sienna said a highlight of her experience at the Royal Easter Show was being able to learn more about how the agriculture industry works.

She said she was able to help out other young people as well as learn from slightly older competitors during her time at the Show.

President of AgShows NSW, Tim Capp, said the young agricultural judges and paraders state finals were a prestigious and exciting celebration of future talent in agriculture.

"It is so important for these young people to grow their confidence, expand their networks, and increase their agricultural knowledge," Mr Capp said.
