About 600 dancers from across the country attended the 62nd Australian National Square Dance Convention at Veolia Arena from Friday to Monday, April 21-25.
They all took part in square and round dancing, the jive, clogging, a pyjama party and a dressed set parade.
Co-convener of the convention Jason Nicholson said the event was a big success and explained why they chose to hold it in Goulburn this year.
"We chose to come to Goulburn because of the facilities available, the venue and the number of accommodation options," Nicholson said.
"It's close to all the major highways if people drive from interstate."

Goulburn Mulwaree Council was a supporter of the convention and Nicholson said he was grateful for an event grant they received.
"Local businesses have also been great to us," he said.
"Having said that, we have also supported the economy as we all use the local accommodation and buy food, drinks and petrol locally."
The convention was also an opportunity for many national square dance groups and committees to come together.
The event has previously been hosted in every capital city and places like the Central Coast, Bendigo, Mandurah and Launceston.
