Jordan Howard, Lachlan Gilbert, Adelaide Taylor, Spencer Marshall, Anne Kent and Olivia Taylor were recognised for finishing first in the Public Schools Sports Association swimming competition, contested by the best swimmers from schools through Goulburn and its surrounds.
Cross country runners Hannah Smith, Aidyn Williams, Stella Campbell, Jamie Derwent, Harry Elder and Jayde Cook also accepted medallions, as did leading young athletes Jamie Derwent (who doubled up) Brandyn Law, Brianna Connor, Jacob White and Jye Citra.
Sophie White was unable to accept her medal. Proud grandfather Garry attended on her behalf.
The search for Goulburn’s 2013 PSSA champions begins with swimming carnivals early in the first term of the new school year.
