Currently the deputy principal of Campbelltown's St Patrick's College, Ms Carroll-Fajarda told the Post last week she was excited about coming to Trinity and working with a "great staff".
"I met many of them on Monday (last week) and was both touched and grateful for theirs and Joe Steyn's warm welcome," Ms Carroll-Fajarda said.
"I was also impressed by the initiative and obvious desire to meet the needs of the students who are part of Trinity."
Ms Carroll-Fajarda says she is ready to step up to the position after having worked at three Catholic schools.
"Each (school) has had its own characteristics and across the three I have worked with a total of six principals, again with their own distinctive styles and all of them have had something to teach me about leadership," she said.
