Corporal James Hayes, Pte Bryan Cullen, Pte Raymond Cox, Pt Barry Thompson, L/Cpt Gregory Stanford and Pte Christopher Clark all lost their lives in the war, sacrifices that were recognised as part of Vietnam Veterans' Day, the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan.
Goulburn traditionally holds its remembrance ceremony on the Saturday before Long Tan Day so that the returned service personnel can participate in other services and reunions on the following when the ceremonies in the major capital cities are held.
The service was held at the Honour Roll in Belmore Park, and was supported this year by the Cadet Unit from Trinity Catholic College.
