STUDENTS from the NSW Police College donated more than 1000 items including non-perishable foods, clothing and blankets to the Goulburn City Lions Club's winter appeal on Wednesday.

In fact the students were so generous that it took a ute and a trailer to haul away the loot.
"I think it's fantastic," Goulburn City Lions Club president Ken Anderson said.
"I am very impressed by the quantity of goods."
The students raised all of the money themselves and purchased the goods from local stores.
"We thought it was good cause," NSW Police College session one student Ali Saab said.
"There are a lot of needy people out there struggling through winter."
This is the latest contribution by NSW Police College students to a local charity with one made at least every trimester.
