Oyster festival volunteers and artists Dorothy Noble, Judy Glover and Vivienne Bowe-Wood, Narooma’s Citizen of the Year, were spotted at the Tilba Festival making items out of bottle tops and other recycled materials.
The street parade at this year’s oyster festival will also feature items made out of recycled materials.
This included tentacles for a large octopus that will be placed in the centre of the Narooma roundabout during the oyster festival, which this year has a recycle and local produce theme.
The artistic ladies also got to the kids at the Tilba Festival to help out making the octopus.
The call for local talent meanwhile has also gone out as planning starts for the ACTEW AGL Talent Quest at the oyster festival.
There will be junior, student and open sections with first prize being $350 and a production of one song at Sanctuary Sound recording studio at Central Tilba.
