But don’t panic, the show hasn’t been cancelled – just moved.
On Wednesday morning the band’s Facebook page announced the show would now be on Monday, November 13.
“Ticketholders who are able to attend the rescheduled show need take no further action; their existing ticket will be valid for the new date and their location within the venue remains unchanged,” the site said.
“Ticketholders who cannot attend on the rescheduled Wollongong date are asked to seek a full refund by 5pm AEDT Friday, March 31, 2017 via the show’s official ticketing agency ticketmaster.com.au phone 136 100.”
The reason for the change was so the band could schedule an extra show in Melbourne on November 8, in addition to another night at the Domain in Sydney on November 17.
“Midnight Oil and Frontier Touring sincerely apologise to those affected by this rescheduling but trust that fans in Wollongong can appreciate that this change was necessary to allow Melbourne fans to access tickets without having to pay ridiculous prices to scalpers,” the band said on its Facebook page.
