Adrenalin Skydive is organising plane loads of experienced skydivers to jump at Goulburn Airport over the weekend.
They will display various skydiving disciplines including: Belly, Freefly, and Canopy Piloting. hey then perform technical and fast turns as they come in to land - a must see.
Deb Hobbs will lead the large formation “belly” groups, who will exit the plane linked together from 15,000 feet AMSL (Above Mean Sea Level), free falling belly-to-earth before opening their parachutes.
Kieren James will organise the “freeflyers”, who unlike the belly groups, will free fall head-to-earth before deploying their chutes.
Meanwhile Cameron Jarret will be in charge of the swoopers and high performance landing specialists. These skydivers jump from a lower height (5,000ft) and open their parachutes immediately after exiting the plane skipping the freefall aspect of the jump.
Chief Instructor Kobi Bokay said the general public is welcome to the event, sponsored by the NSW Parachute Council. “You may want to do a tandem jump, or simply come along and watch the action over head,” Bokay said. ”Our skydiving club includes a restaurant, an onsite motel and a bar.”
It starts from 8am each day from June 10 to 12.
