Aligning with the iconic ram of Goulburn worldwide recognised symbol, 2GCR will now be known as RAMFM 103.3.
The public is happy with the new name.
“Our recently conducted community station survey with the people of Goulburn revealed that 95 per cent agreed with the new name,” president of RAMFM Jeff Dunn said.
Australian Communication and Media Authority approved the name change. However, by law, 2GCR is still their call sign.
“We look forward to moving ahead with our new look RAMFM community radio station voice to the greater Goulburn,” Mr Dunn said.
The radio station recently received a new digital studio and is currently reviewing its programming.
Their new website www.ramfm.com.au is up and running.
