Accent is on participation so bring voices and instruments and join in on the first Friday of each month.
A booklet of local dance tunes has been compiled to use at the sessions or you can join in and sing along by ear.
Each month has a theme to focus interest on a different aspect of our heritage.
The Green Room

The Green Room is a local rock group consisting of Vocals / Guitar - Sabrina Lamont ; Vocals / Guitar - Paul Alessi; Bass - Gooch Wilson; Drums - Chris Robbo.
Goulburn Parkrun
- Saturday, June 8, Marsden Weir Park, off Fitzroy Street starting at 8am.
Goulburn Parkrun is a free, weekly, 5km timed run open to all ages and abilities held every Saturday.
Please register before your first run and don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode if you want to be timed! People can do so at https://www.parkrun.com.au/register/
Participants run for enjoyment so come along and join in the fun, whatever your pace!
Every week runners and walkers grab a post-run coffee in the Greengrocer cafe @ 37 Clifford Street.
Parkside Community Markets
- Saturday, June 8, Montague Street, Goulburn from 8.30am to 1.30pm.
Come and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of the Parkside Community markets in Montague Street, every second Saturday of the month.
A Goulburn Rotary Club project, the Parkside Community Markets have loads of stalls selling quality local arts, crafts, produce, plants, fresh flowers and great food, including homemade cakes and slices. Several of the local wineries will also have stalls.
There are also performances by students of the Hume Conservatorium.
World Wide Knit (or Crochet!) in Public Day
- Saturday, June 8, Gallery on Track, 2 Blackshaw Road from 10am to 4pm. Cost: Free.
All welcome to join members of the Gallery on Track for a fun day of chat, knitting or crochet.
Beginner lessons will be available on the day for those who wish to learn the skills of knitting and crocheting. Hot chocolate and marshmallows will be provided to ensure enthusiastic energy levels stay high!
This is a great opportunity to visit the Gallery, meet some of our wonderful creative members and spend some time chatting while working away on whatever you are knitting or crocheting.

The Society of Australian Teachers of Dancing is hosting a weekend of dancing across the Queen's Birthday long weekend. Saturday: Social Dance Night. Sunday: Dance Competition. Events to include: Ballroom; Latin America; New Vogue; English Old Time; Pro/Amateurs; and Sequence Dance. Times: Saturday: 7pm start; Sunday: doors open at 10am for 11am start. Aftermath of WWI
- Sunday June 9, 2pm to 4pm at Mulwaree High School Remembrance Museum, McDermott Drive. Ph: 4821 2587. Admission: Gold coin donation.
The Remembrance Museum contains militaria from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts right back to the New Zealand Maori War, fought in the mid-19th century. The theme focuses on returning troops, the Spanish influenza pandemic: 'the aftermath of war'.

Using fibre as the allegory of the invisible hidden within, 'un:Seen' is the fourth exhibition by 20 of the Untethered Fibre Artists, with works that explore human interaction, impart a message and share a passion through imagery and meaning, in cloth and stitch, felted wool, print and paint.

Works now in the permanent collection, 'Living Rag Doll' (2005), a performance work shot at Tony's New and Used Furniture in Verner Street; and 'Gaze of the Masked Philosopher' (2004), a photograph through the eyes of the Big Merino.

Goulburn Harness Racing

The Goulburn Harness Racing Club provides exciting harness racing action on what is one of the premier racing circuits across NSW. The spectator facilities of the Grace Millsom Function Centre are second to none and for all fans of the sport, a day out at the Goulburn trots is something to relish.
Laggan Village Markets

The Laggan Village Markets are held on the third Saturday of the month (2nd Saturday in December). Enjoy a Devonshire Tea or barbecueby 'the boys'. Lots of great local produce and arts and crafts.
Blessing of the Dogs
- Sunday, June 16, Tarago Truffles, 173 Willandra Lane, Tarago at 11am. Cost: $65 per adult / children are free.
Join friends of St Andrew's Anglican Church, Tarago, and resident priest, Professor Tom Frame, as they gather to bless the truffle dogs of our region and wish them and the growers well for an abundant season of black winter truffle. Price includes lunch.
