About $5500 was raised for the Brain Injury Unit.
The annual fundraiser is held to support the Brain Injury Unit and remember Tim Hartnett, a Goulburn man who passed away in September 1999, due to an unexpected cerebral hemorrhage.
It's now been 20 years and his family have been keeping his legacy by hosting the annual Brainwake concert.
Mr Hartnett's mother Cheryl Hartnett said the funds are extremely useful for them.
"The money goes towards physical therapy equipment for people who have had a brain injury," Cheryl said.
"It will help them to be a bit more independent and will give them a bit more purpose in life."
She came into the Goulburn Post recently to say thanks to the newspaper for supporting the event.
"The money will be used to buy a dining room suite for clients and families at the unit," Mrs Hartnett said.
"It will also buy Bluetooth speakers and a recumbent bike and mat."
