The group of 86 students at Mulwaree High School have done terrifically well this year and the school's deputy principal Sally Curry had nothing but praise for the year group.
"We're really proud of the efforts they have put in during these tough times," Ms Curry said.
One of the school captains Ashley Blake-Dyke said that although study was a bit challenging at times, the teachers were always there for them.
"Some kids grew from the experience and some worked at their own pace," Ashley said.
"The year has changed a lot and we've had to be very independent.
"The virus has made the year a little disappointing, but a unique experience.
"Teachers have been doing extra work and we have got access to online workshops and programs."

With their classes almost complete, Ms Curry reiterated the fact the students would have to continue to study.
"My advice is the same as it always is," Ms Curry said.
"They need to continue to study right up to the exam.
"They should relax and trust that they've done enough."
While the main goal of the year group is to do well in their HSC, the students are still kids at the end of the day and the social aspect of their schooling life is very important as well.
At this stage, their school formal scheduled for November 12 is going ahead and is still in the planning process.
Another school captain Emma Baxter said being recognised for their 13 years of schooling was vital.
"COVID-19 has brought us closer and we'd like to have a celebration together," Ms Baxter said.
"Having something to recognise our efforts would be nice, whether it be a graduation or a formal."
Graduation will look different for the school this year with parents being prohibited from attending, but the school will stream the event live.
Mulwaree High School students will be treated to a few fun activities in their last week of school like a picnic and a treasure hunt.
