This year saw the Crookwell Ninjas enter five junior and two senior teams.
The Crookwell teams had a great year, played some fantastic hockey and had a lot of fun, resulting in five of our teams playing in grand finals.
At the end of the round matches, our two u13s and two u15s teams ended up top of the table.
They had to battle out grand final day against each other and the 2nd division Ninja women also earned a grand final match against AJAX.
The u13s Pink and Purple started Crookwell's matches for the day and these two teams dominated their division this year.
Purple became the eventual winner with the score 2-1.
This was the first time they had won against the strong Pink team.
The u15s followed straight after and the two teams also dominated the round matches, so was only fitting they ended up in the final against each other.
It was another great game.
Purple had struggled to get up over the strong Pink team throughout the season and were missing a few key players with injuries.
It was going to be a hard ask to get the win and although it was a very even game, Pink ended up the winning 5-2.
To keep the day rolling, the 2nd division women took the turf against a very young and impressive AJAX team.
The Ninjas team is a mix of both young and old with three lots of mother daughter/daughters combinations.
Crookwell battled right to the end but went down down 2-1 in a very competitive battle.
