The exhibition officially opened at the centre on October 9 and features portraits of several members of the community including Pauleen and David Mullen, former mayor Tony Lamarra and his wife Adriana and Tom Hughes, former Queen's Counsel barrister.
Mrs Milson's feels that everyone has a story to tell and the sentiments echoes with Pauline Mullen as well. She also feels that age is just a number.
"The Art of Ageing exhibitions features those who are over 50 years old. Age should not be a barrier to do things we love and be active in our community," she added.
Christine, wife of Tom Huges, called his portrait "wonderful". "When Tina captured Tom's photograph, she filtered light through the trees on him and it looks like a halo on him," she said.
Commenting on the couple's portrait, Adriana Lamarra said that she is pleased with it and thinks that the 'Art of Ageing' concept on ageing gracefully is "great".
The Art of Ageing exhibition includes the portraits of Goulburn residents aged 50 and older. The portraits have been travelling for two years and displayed at various art galleries and libraries.
Tina Milson's photographic work captures the portraits of senior residents who give back to the community.
Mrs Milson became a part of the exhibition in 2017 and has tried to capture the pride the senior residents have in themselves and their life in her portraits.
They are now on display at the Goulburn Community Centre where members of the community can view these portraits.
The exhibition was instigated by the NSW government, through family and community services, with an idea to celebrates the value, experience and contribution older people bring and challenges the out-dated perceptions of ageing.
It also seeks to increase their participation in the arts and cultural activities, as part of the NSW Ageing Strategy.
