The NSW Police Force Southern Region has welcomed 20 new probationary constables to its ranks following the most recent attestation of 192 recruits at the Police Academy in Goulburn.
The Hume Police District has gained two new recruits as they embark on their career at Southern Highlands and Goulburn Police Stations.
Formerly a fish farmer, Malik Cottrell-Dormer joined the NSW Police Force after aspirations from a young age. His love of natural sciences and the outdoors, which suited him well in the aquaculture industry, has prepared him for the diversity of regional work. He welcomed the opportunity to serve the community in the Southern Highlands and looked forward to the challenges of policing.
Alex Triantos comes to Goulburn Police Station from interstate, having been a lecturer and independent researcher in Criminology. Alex most looked forward to engaging with the local community to build positive relationships between police and Goulburn residents. He hoped to make a positive impact in his new role as a NSW Police Officer.
