The 2020 Goulburn Table Tennis Club season culminated recently with a presentation evening at the John Lees Centre.

Medallions were awarded to the winners of the recent local A Grade teams competition which was won by the Eagles side of Richie Jiang, Robert McIntosh and Simon Jiang.
Runners-up were Mark Soley, Jack Gray and Chising Chung. In the grand final, the matches that were pivotal for an Eagles win were Richie Jiang's 12-10 in the fifth set win against Mark Soley.
Simon Jiang also starred with wins over Chising Chung and a vital 13-11 victory in the fourth set over Jack Gray. B Grade was won by the Dragons team of Dave Manning, fill-in Siobhan Scott for Kev Fitzgerald, and Jacob Mauro.
They defeated Jet Setters, who were represented by Sam Plumb, Nicola Fraser and Harry Mauro. In this match Sam Plumb defeated Dave Manning in four sets. Other wins saw fill-in Siobhan Scott and Jacob Mauro both defeat Nicola Fraser in four sets. Dave Mauro overcame Harry Mauro in five tough sets.
Medallions were also awarded for the Annual Closed Championships. Richie Jiang dominated the Championships with wins in the Open Men's Singles, Junior Singles and partnering his father Simon, Richie took out the Open Men's Doubles.

Players are reminded that Thursday and Friday night practice sessions will still be held over the holiday period. Play in both A and B Grade should start in early February 2021.
