The awards have been running since 2010 and aim to recognise, support and reward wedding businesses operating in regional areas.
Owner Rebecca Gerstner feels winning the award makes it extra special for her as 2020 marks the 10th year of the business. "It was wonderful to end an extremely emotional and stressful year for a small business, especially in the wedding industry, on such a high note," she said.
"It feels amazing to be recognised for all the hard work that goes into it. I always give my 100 per cent and treat the wedding of every couple that comes to us like how I would for my own wedding," she said.

When she started the business 10 years ago, she was passionate about being a part of the wedding industry. "I have always been passionate about the bridal industry and love putting together textures and colours for a wedding," she said.
Like many other local businesses, Bek's Blooms was affected after COVID-19 restrictions were put in place. With demand and supply for certain flowers getting affected, she started planting them on their property in Run O'Waters. Most of her bouquets had freshly grown flowers from the garden.
"It was an uncertain time and we had started receiving requests for cancellations and rescheduling. However, even though intimate weddings were being held, the flowers have always been an important part of the wedding," she said.
"The support of the local community was amazing. There were referrals and word-of-mouth that helped us immensely."
Meanwhile, COVID-19 restrictions have now eased and cap on the number of people allowed to attend weddings have been removed.
"People have started to make the bookings for their weddings once again," she said.
Bek's Bloomz was a finalist in Bride's Choice awards last year.
