Our firies were in the spotlight yesterday when children had the opportunity to meet their heroes at the Goulburn PCYC.
The meet and greet was part of the PCYC's school holiday program. Club manager Janelle Lawson urged parents to sign their kids up for the many activities on offer.

She said the program was going "really well" with the children "having fun and playing games".
"The kids go home at the end of the day tired and happy which parents appreciate."
The school holiday program runs until January 22 from 9am to 4pm on weekdays. All children from five to 12 years old are welcome. Cost is $35 per day or $260 per week.
Activities include:
- Friday, January 8 - Multi-sports olympics
- Monday, January 11 - Art attack and target practice
- Tuesday, January 12 - Rock climbing and crafty kids
- Wednesday, January 13 - Meet a hero and sports competition
- Thursday, January 14 - Orienteering and team sport
- Friday, January 15 - First aid for kids (additional $20) and active games
- Monday, January 18 - Orienteering and crafty kids
- Tuesday, January 19 - Rock climbing and minute to win it
- Wednesday, January 20 - Meet a hero and fun with Lego
- Thursday, January 21 - The big read bus and self defence
- Friday, January 22 - Meditation and active craft
