Country Children's Early Learning (CCEL) is opening 10 outside of school hours care programs across the Southern Highlands and Southern Tablelands.
This initiative is part of a contract with the NSW Department of Education.
This is also a part of the Premier's promise to provide an increased amount of before and after school care places.
Country Children's Early Learning director Julia Morphett said Moss Vale, Bundanoon, Robertson, Exeter, Burrawang, Wingello, Penrose, Avoca, Marulan and Tallong Public Schools were the places with the service.
"The department approached the schools in those areas and the schools surveyed the families," Ms Morphett said.
"Services have already started at Moss Vale, Bundanoon, Robertson and Marulan and attendance levels have been great.
"The rest will all commence sometime during term 1 this year."
There has been nothing but positive feedback so far.
"We've been receiving great feedback from the parents," Ms Morphett said.
"Most of them are really excited about accessing the service as it will make it easier for them to fulfil their work commitments."
The care programs are currently looking for more staff so a big positive about the initiative is that it helps create more jobs too.
The programs are for students in primary school.
