Remember the old steam locomotives? Well one of the remaining drivers in Goulburn turned 90-years-old on Friday, February 12. Benny Gianfelici was with family and friends when he celebrated the milestone at home. "He was born in Italy and migrated to Casterton, Victoria in 1950 to join the army", Steve said. "When he was discharged, he started sugar cutting in Queensland. READ ALSO: Goulburn Cup has 'soldiers' as sentinel "He then moved to Goulburn in 1955 and worked as an engine driver. "He also boxed for many years and was really good at it." For Benny, who is also a very good gardener, there is no place like home which is why that is his favourite part of town.
