After COVID-19 curtailed the annual tournaments in 2020, the GDNA players have been itching to get back on the court and test themselves.
"I think they're very keen and excited to get out there and showcase themselves," association vice president Karen Campbell said.
"They've been working hard over the last two years, so it'll be great for them to put their hard work to use.
"As an association, we're all quite excited as well. There's been a lot going on in the background to make sure we get them all there."
On Sunday, May 23, the GDNA Under 14s travelled to Baulkham Hills, and the Under 17s and Open teams went to Bathurst, where they all played in representative tournaments.
"We were very proud of their resilience and never give up attitude coming up against some very tough Sydney competition in their seven games," the GDNA said of the Under 14s on Facebook.
Their Under 17s and Opens sides in Bathurst, the association said in a previous post, "exemplify team work, grit and determination mixed with plenty of skill, all with a smile on their faces as they do what they love".
The Netball NSW Senior State Titles will take place from Saturday, June 12, to Monday, June 14, and will be hosted by both the Liverpool and Bankstown associations.
The Junior State Titles, meanwhile, will take place from Saturday, June 26, to Monday, June 28, and will be hosted by Penrith and Baulkham Hills.
While all of the Goulburn sides are expected to be strong, Campbell said the association had high hopes for the Under 17s team.
"I think they're all going pretty strong, our senior teams are doing quite well," she said.
"The 17s are quite a force to be reckoned with, so we're excited to see them perform in two weeks time."
Goulburn's junior teams have one more opportunity to tune up their game, with another carnival scheduled for this weekend in Campbelltown.
The only remaining variable is the recent COVID-19 case which made close contact in Goulburn late last month.
The GDNA is currently adhering to all COVID safety guidelines in place, but only time will tell if the State Titles will be impacted by the alert.
