
Police have charged a teen over a pursuit in an allegedly stolen car in Goulburn overnight.
A NSW Police spokesperson said at about 12:30am on June 22, a Holden R8 utility was allegedly stolen during a break-in at a property in the ACT.
At about 1:20am, officers attached to the Hume Police District sighted the vehicle speeding off along Yass Valley Way, Yass.

The Holden was sighted by offices attached to the Goulburn Proactive Crime Team travelling at speed along the Hume Highway at Yarra.
A pursuit was initiated, travelling through Goulburn, before hitting a median strip and coming to a stop at the intersection of Kinghorne and Victoria Streets.
The driver - a 17-year-old boy - was arrested following a short foot pursuit and was allegedly in possession of a knife.
During a search of the vehicle, police located a .22 calibre break action rifle, reportedly stolen from an ACT property on June 18, 2021. Police also located financial cards and personal documents reported stolen from the ACT yesterday.
The vehicle and firearm have been seized to undergo forensic examination.
The teen was taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with nine offences, including:
- Police pursuit - not stop - drive recklessly
- Possess unauthorised forearm
- Not keep firearm safely
- Drive unlicensed
- Four counts of receive/dispose of/attempt to dispose of/possess property stolen outside NSW
- Carry cutting weapon
The Goulburn teen was refused bail to appear at a children's court today.
