Originally slated to take place over the weekend of June 26, the State Titles were called off just two days out due to the growing COVID-19 outbreak in Greater Sydney.
Netball NSW announced on June 26 that the tournament would instead take place on September 24 and 25.
"It was a bit disappointing, the girls have been working hard," GDNA vice president, Karen Campbell, said.
"Especially to have it happen so close to the event as well, we almost got there. We were very lucky to be able to have the seniors and enjoy a successful run with them.
"Obviously the juniors were quite excited to have their turn coming up, but we've got to do what we're told, and we're lucky that Netball NSW has been so quick to reschedule and make it a priority that it goes ahead in September."
The Senior State Titles took place from June 12 to 14, and both of Goulburn's teams performed strongly.
The Open team played 17 matches in the Division Two competition for 10 wins, six losses, and one draw, which placed the side in ninth out of 19 teams.
The Under 17s, meanwhile, led the Division Four competition after the first day, and finished in fourth place with 10 wins, three losses, and one draw from 14 matches.
"It was a definite improvement on previous years," Campbell said.
"On day one, our Under 17s were sitting at the top of the ladder, which was very exciting. Unfortunately they couldn't maintain that form, but they still had a good run.
"We're very happy with both results, it was a fabulous weekend for all of them. We're all very proud of both teams and how well they performed."
While there is now a two month wait until the Junior State Titles in September, Campbell said the postponement of the competition will not have a significant financial impact on Goulburn's players.
"We're lucky that we arrange most of the player and officials accommodation through the association," she said.
"We have an existing relationship with the hotel we've used for a number of years, so they were able to carry forward that booking, so that hasn't been a major issue."
