That's what National Agriculture Day on Friday, November 19 is for.
With a lot of Ag Day events cancelled due to lockdown, Regional Development Australia - Southern Inland (RDASI) CEO Carisa Wells said they decided to be creative this year and make a short film called 'For the Love of Ag'.
"Ag Day is dedicated to celebrating Australia's Ag Community," Ms Wells said.
"Despite the challenges of drought, fire, flood and COVID, they have gone to amazing lengths to support food security in our country.
"That's why it's important to us that we celebrate their industry, and show our appreciation.
"The short film features the inspirational stories of local Southern Inland farmers and graziers.
"2020 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award NSW/ACT winner and national runner-up and co-founder of Pecora Dairy Cressida Cains were thrilled to be invited as the face of the event.
"It also features Peter and Jack O'Connor from Oxton Park; Georgie Kelly and her family at Rugby Station; Tim Kirk from Clonakilla Wines; and John Mauger of Mauger's Meats."
'For the Love of Ag' is will be released on Ag Day at the website: https://rdasi.org.au/agday/.
The Goulburn Show Society will also be showing their support for Ag Day by hosting a Bunnings barbecue on Saturday, November 20.
With the help of the NSW Farmers Goulburn Branch, they want to connect the community with their local farmers.
Goulburn Show Society president Jacki Waugh said the past year was good for farmers who definitely deserved things to go their way given the tough trot they had.
"It's important to recognise the agricultural community and to thank them for the hard work they do.
"The past year has been a lot better than what it was in the couple of years preceding that, especially due to the rain we've received."
The funds from the barbecue will go to the Goulburn Show Society to help with the running of the Goulburn Show.
