Ms Cordell said the clinic had recently reduced its hours to catch up on histopathology resulting from the high demand. The turnaround for results is 72 hours. One extra staff member had been employed to cope, taking the total testers to three.
This week the drive-thru is open from 8am to noon Tuesday to Friday and 8am to 1.30pm Saturday.
