Following a briefing with the Bureau on Wednesday morning, SES Argyle inspector Ben Lynch said most of most of the rainfall would impact Goulburn and surrounds on Thursday morning. Windellama and was forecast to receive 90mm, and Collector and Crookwell - 45mm
Argyle cluster commander Bob Bell said downpours were also expected between Goulburn and Sydney on Friday. The SES is preparing for 45mm for Marulan and 25mm for Goulburn.
"At this stage, Thursday's rain seems to be concentrated on the eastern edge of the local government area," Mr Bell said.
Mr Bell said he expected all the usual road closures and inundation around Eastgrove, the Wollondilly River walk, other low lying parts of Goulburn, Towrang Bridge, Brayton, Windellama, Bungonia and Tarago districts, among others.
"If they've flooded before, they probably will be again," he said.
