Tag20 is an innovative sport made for social collaboration, health, wellbeing, fitness and enjoyable competition. The skills performed in the game of Tag20 are similar to those from codes including Touch Football, Rugby League and Rugby Union. The major difference is that the tag replaces the impact of a tackle.
This Tournament is a combination of the annual Indigenous Heritage Shield - where New Zealand Maori compete against Indigenous Australia - but with the inclusion of Australian Heritage and Pacific Nations teams.

Tag20 Pacific Shield and Indigenous Heritage Shield Organiser, Jody Te Ora, is excited to be returning to Goulburn.
"As always, it's a pleasure to work with the Goulburn Mulwaree Council team, supporting and welcoming our whole Tag20 sporting family to the wonderful city of Goulburn, in which we are very appreciative."
"We welcome everyone to come along and see our talented individuals. Ages start from our junior 7s through to our senior 40s divisions, so something for all ages, males and females."
"Spectators can expect to see the high quality competition of a new and exciting sport. The high skill sets normally seen in high profile rugby codes, the speed and natural abilities of many participants, will all be on show."
The Tournament will attract over 630 participants and officials, spread across 52 teams coming from the Greater Sydney region, ACT, Central Coast, rural NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council's Mayor, Peter Walker, is thrilled to welcome the Tag20 back to Goulburn after successfully hosting the Tag20 Anzac Cup in 2021.
"We have a proud sporting history in our region, and in recent years have worked hard to attract events of this calibre to Goulburn Mulwaree.
"I'm looking forward to seeing some incredible Tag20 athletes in action over the weekend in April.
With over 600 participants and officials visiting our region it will also be a significant boost to our local economy."
Goulburn Mulwaree Council is proudly supporting the Tag20 Sports Association of Australia Incorporated in bringing the Pacific Shield and Indigenous Heritage Shield to Goulburn.
