The Community Cross Party Working Group is hosting the evening which will bring together several interest groups, including the Tarago and District Progress Association Inc (TADPAI).
Spokesman Ian Anderson said the aim was to create greater awareness about Veolia Environmental Services' proposed $600 million facility. The state significant project, planned for the Woodlawn eco-precinct near Tarago, is before the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment.

Goulburn Mulwaree Council, TADPAI and Communities Against Tarago Incinerator have opposed the plan. It would burn up to 380,000 tonnes of Sydney's feedstock, municipal residual, commercial and industrial waste annually and generate up to 39 megawatts of electricity.
Residents have also spoken out about the project and several neighbouring councils, including Queanbeyan Palerang have supported Goulburn Mulwaree's stance.
The Cross Party Working Group was formed in response and has won Goulburn Mulwaree Council support.
Mr Anderson said the information night, to be held at the Goulburn Workers Club from 7pm to 9pm Saturday, would seek to answer questions on the potential impact of the incinerator, including on Goulburn, people's health, and on the agricultural industry.
"I don't think the average person in Goulburn knows too much about it," he said.
"It is more than 300,000 tonnes of Sydney's waste coming our way. Why bring it here and why can't it be burnt in Sydney if it is so clean and green?"
