It will be a time to celebrate at Tirranna Public when past students, parents and families will come together with the current school community on Saturday to celebrate 150 years of education.

"Completing 150 years of public education at Tirrana [primary] school is a huge milestone," said relieving principal Jessica Pryor.
The day will start at 10am with morning tea. From 11am, a string of activities will include performances by students, an awards ceremony, and addresses by special guests and staff.
Reunion photos will be taken and people will be able to take a tour of the school.

Other activities will include a display of art in 'Past, Present and Future', trivia, and a treasure hunt.
"We have families coming in, people visiting the school to connect and relive their past experiences," Ms Pryor said.
"It's the heart of the community and it's been the heart of the community for 150 years. An event like this brings our community together and gives them a sense of connection. It's a family-oriented environment where everybody is working together to support students. In the past 150 years, the school has gone from strength to strength.

"Everyone coming for the event has a strong connection to the school and are quite keen to reconnect with those memories and people who are going to be here.
"We have past pupils, previous teachers, principals, staff members, students telling us that they are excited about the upcoming event. There are warm and fond memories of the school."
The school is about 10km from Goulburn on Braidwood Road.
