Herfoss, a former member of the Goulburn Cycle Club, returned to his old stomping ground for another ride, and performed strongly in Gold Coast Cycle Club colours to claim first place in A Grade.
Troy's familiarity with the track gave him the edge to take out A Grade from Mark Gibson and Robbie Dorsett.
Another good win for Jason Cook in B Grade over Phil Champion and Wayne Bensley making his return to racing following his recovery from injuries.
Nothing separated the riders in C Grade. Ted Goad, Nadine Moroney and Chris Berry did plenty of work at the front but it all came down to the final sprint out of the last corner.
Chris Berry was first to jump leading out from young Alex Wallace and Mark Stutchbury. Alex sat in the slipstream and timed his final effort to perfection for a comfortable win.
Wayne Skillman had another solid win in D Grade followed by Peter Jackson and Fiona Berry. Two young junior riders, Elsie Apps and Ryan Daniel, stepped up to race with the seniors and acquitted themselves well.
Next week racing is back at Wakefield Park for the Club Championship criteriums. Sign on at 5.45pm with junior racing at 6pm and seniors at 6.15pm.
Last weekend Goulburn's elite riders competed in the Tolland Open Handicaps in Wagga. Jacob Emmerton was the best performing rider taking out the fastest time in Saturday's 90km Handicap and fourth overall and third fastest time in Sunday's 72km Handicap.
