The orchestra will play three pieces during their performance; Max Richter's The Four Seasons Recomposed; Variations on a Theme by Tchaikovsky by Anton Arensky; and Katia Beaugeais', Like Snowdrops You Will Shine.
The young Beaugeais string ensemble was performed and recorded by the Australian Chamber Orchestra Collective in 2018. It will be the regional premiere of the piece.
The orchestra will be joined by violinist Helena Popovic.
Leonard Weiss will lead the orchestra in his final performance at Gunning. The talented carillonist and conductor is leaving to attend the Peabody Institute of the John Hopkins University in the US.
The performance will be held at the Gunning Shire Hall on Sunday, June 23 at 2pm.
Tickets will be available at the door for $30, concessions tickets are $25, Gunning Focus Group members are $20, and children under 15 are free.
