Break and enters on homes appears to be on the rise in Goulburn Mulwaree, with 92 reported incidents over the 12 months to March, an increase of 31 on the previous year.

There also appears to be more cars getting stolen too, with 42 reported car thefts for the year, up from 32 last year.
Apart from that, crime across most categories appears to be trending downwards in Goulburn Mulwaree.
Reported cases of stealing from motor vehicles, retail stores and houses are all trending down.
In Goulburn Mulwaree:
- stealing from retail stores (131 incidents) is down by 18 reported incidents for the 12 months to March, 2019
- stealing from motor vehicles (100) is down by 25
- stealing from dwellings (74) is down by 25.
The statistics come from the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR), released earlier this month.
The incidents of domestic-violence related assault (97 reports) has dropped by 42 over the 12 months to March, 2019.
Non-domestic violence related assault (119 reports) is down by 10, sexual assault (25 reports) is down by 24. However, there were 61 reported cases of indecent assault (a rise of 19 cases on the previous year).
Malicious damage to property is slightly up, with 252 reported incidents, compared to 247 last year.
Cases of fraud remain high for Goulburn Mulwaree, with 160 reported cases for the year, slightly up from 157 in the previous year.

The data were extracted from the Computerised Operational Policing System (COPS) of the NSW Police Force in May 2019.
