The 22-year-old was sashed in front of many people at the Grace Millsom Centre on Friday, December 6.
Ms Fletcher understandably felt privileged to be representing the town she grew up in and loves.
"I'm looking forward to being an ambassador for the society for the next 12 months," Ms Fletcher said.
"I strive to be a positive role model for the younger girls and also advocate for both women and youth and agriculture.
"I've been striving for this because I love living in Goulburn as it is a small rural town with amazing agriculture opportunities."
The rugby league and swimming lover is studying a bachelor of agriculture at the University of New England via distance education.
She is also studying a bachelor of secondary education and exercise science at the University of Canberra.
Within the community, she enjoys volunteering at nursing homes, disability homes, pre-schools and childcare centres.
With the assistance of her animals, her goal is to bring joy and education to those she visits.
Applying to be the Showgirl was a no-brainer for the learn-to-swim instructor as she admired how previous showgirls had presented themselves.
"They are strong and positive role models and advocates for women in agriculture," Ms Fletcher said.
"They are always willing to step out of their comfort zone and continue to better themselves in every aspect.
"I've been around plenty of Showgirls in the past, too, as my family and I exhibit horses, cattle and alpacas at local and Royal shows."
Ms Fletcher's ultimate goal after university is to educate students in city, regional and remote areas on the importance of agriculture and the role it plays in Australia and globally.
She wants to show her students they can become involved and make a positive difference within their local community, too.
Ms Fletcher takes the crown fromBreanna Hickey, who was the Showgirl for 2019.
