On Wednesday, Taralga RFS Captain John Sullivan will provide the most up to date information on the crews activities and the situation on the fire ground.
The community information meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at the Taralga RFS Fire Station, Orchard Street, Taralga at 7pm.
The Green Wattle Creek bushfire has burnt over 140,000 hectares, it is burning to the north, northeast of the Wombeyan Caves.
The RFS has advised with hotter conditions forecast this week the bushfire could break fire barriers being used to control the fire edge. Temperatures are predicted to climb to 40 degrees in the Southern Tablelands, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
