Their hard work and dedication to the sport make them worthy recipients of the funds amounting to $500 for Joshua and $250 for Charlotte received late last year at the Civic Centre.
Their grandmother Kerrie Laurie said the two, who usually train three to four times a week, would use the funds for their travel costs.
"They're always travelling for different events ," Laurie said.
"Joshua was in Canberra for the last weekend and before that, he was in Dubbo for the Country Championships."
Charlotte was the first of the two to take part in athletics before Joshua followed her to join the Goulburn Mulwaree Little Athletics.

"Charlotte was doing well in primary school and was disappointed because she failed to make the final of a regional carnival," Laurie said.
"A comment was made telling her she couldn't just get out of bed and expect to make finals and that got her into Little A's.
"Joshua followed her and they've been doing it ever since."
Joshua, who is more competitive than his sister, is "really cool about his involvement with athletics" and doesn't talk about it much.
"None of his friends really realise what he does as far as athletics go.
"He doesn't go out banging his chest.
"He just goes out do what he loves and is reaping the awards at the moment."
The Mulwaree High School students haven't thought about how far they want to take it, but are just happy to be playing the sport.
"They haven't spoken about what they want to do in the future at this stage.
"They both just enjoy what they do and are both good at pretty much every discipline.
"They haven't really started to specialise in anything at this stage.
"Their bodies will tell them a bit further down the track.
"However, they're both really good hurdlers, so that's their main area."
Joshua's latest achievement was coming first in the 100m hurdles, 200m hurdles and triple jump events at the ACT Championships over the Australia Day long weekend.
Charlotte returned from a school trip in the USA on the Australia Day long weekend and hasn't trained for a while.
The next round of funding will be round two of the 2019/20 financial year.
