Starting at the Breadalbane Church, riders enjoyed an almost gale force tail wind up the steady climb to the turnaround point at the top of the Cullerin Range.
Plenty of riders recorded personal best times for the outward leg.

Unfortunately the return journey was a challenge for all riders.
Fiona Berry made good progress to the turnaround point and held off all the chasers until Poplar Straight.
Michael Hall and Joe Chalker made up six minutes and managed to pass Fiona at the start of the straight.
A Grade riders Jason McLaughlin, Mark Gibson, Robbie Dorsett and Cameron Roberts needed to make up 12 and a half minutes on the field.
When they teamed up with Michael Beard (off 14 minutes) the five worked hard to finally take the lead on the short climb out of Poplar Straight and within five kms of the finish line.
Nothing separated the leaders as they passed the Breadalbane Church and in a tight sprint to the line, Jason McLaughlin edged out Mark Gibson by the narrowest of margins while Robbie Dorsett rolled across the line in third place.
Jason was also rewarded with the fastest time for the race.
Next week racing is on Middle Arm Road for the Fred McClelland Constructions Individual Time Trial.
Sign on is opposite the cemetery by 6pm with racing at 6.30pm.
New riders and visitors welcome.
