Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman said the NSW government's significant $886,930 investment will assist construction and completion of three community infrastructure projects in the Goulburn area.

The PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Clubs NSW Ltd) are the recipients of $220,822 to assist in funding towards the Goulburn Youth Hub.

"This funding will facilitate the expansion of PCYC Goulburn to establish a dedicated youth hub, providing space for multiple agencies to deliver youth programs, services and activities from a central location," Mrs Tuckerman said.

"The need for a dedicated youth center in Goulburn has support from council and the primary youth services providers including Headspace, NSW Department of Education, Communities and Justice, as well as Mission Australia.

"This was highlighted by a recent visit by Minister for Regional Youth, The Hon Bronnie Taylor MLC. We could see that a dedicated facility is a critical need for local young people."

The Goulburn Motor Cycle Club has also been awarded $491,284 for construction of the Goulburn Moto Park.

"The Goulburn Motor Cycle Club has been diligently working on the construction of a moto park for the past two years. This grant will allow the club to open their facility to the public for recreational riding, as well as extending opportunities to the wider racing community to bring training, coaching and competitions to Goulburn," she said.

The Crescent School Goulburn P&C are the recipients of $174,823 to purchase a Bus Replacement for Run #7874.

"The bus that the Crescent School Goulburn P&C currently uses was manufactured in October, 2006 so the need to replace the bus is fast approaching. The Crescent School is the only School for Specific Purposes in the Southern Tablelands, with 75 students enrolled who all need transport (either to/from school or to special events). I'm delighted that the NSW government has fully funded this project," Mrs Tuckerman said.

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro said $100 million was being distributed across regional NSW, with over $50 million to fund infrastructure and programs designed to directly benefit regional youth.

To date, rounds one and two of the program have funded more than 1,000 projects.

"Locals across regional NSW are seeing the benefits of rounds one and two of the Fund, with projects making a big difference to everyday life, from new playgrounds loved by kids to light towers illuminating sporting fields," Mr Barilaro said.

"We are funding grassroots projects that make a real difference to each community, and we know how important it is to support our regional towns with new infrastructure and programs."

Minister for Regional Youth, Bronnie Taylor, said round 3 of the Stronger Country Communities Fund is putting young people front and centre, boosting job skills, providing the activities and infrastructure that make regional communities better places to live and work.

"This round of the Fund is supporting young people and giving them the opportunity to be the best versions of themselves, while also supporting infrastructure and programs in the town they love," Mrs Taylor said.

"The strength of regional communities is dependent on young people having the opportunity to thrive, while remaining at home in regional NSW.

"We are following through with our election commitment to spend $50 million of the Fund on regional youth, and it will be exciting to see the benefit this has for our young people."

The $400 million Stronger Country Communities Fund is part of the NSW Government's $1.7 billion Regional Growth Fund, which is being invested in local programs and infrastructure that improve the lives of people living in regional NSW.
