The arcade was opened in June last year by local Greg Appleton who has a passion for gaming and saw a hole in the market.
"It is happening to everybody and we are all in a similar situation. We are assessing what we are going to do in the future. We still have all the equipment and games," Mr Appleton said.
"We are watching closely like everyone else and it is unclear whether we will have any assistance from the government regarding stimulus package," Mr Appleton said.
There were two employees working at the arcade.
Prior to the closure, there were plans to expand the classic old-style video gaming arcade which has around 35 gaming machines.
"We are not saying that the plan to expand has ended but these are extremely tough times and the situation is changing every day," he said.
"However, right now, we are closing the store and are unable to trade.
"I am just being very very cautious."
In recent times, the business, like others, had been affected due to drought and bushfires.
"I am happy to take a break now. If the economy comes back and we have the community support, we plan to install a bowling alley," he said.
"Looking back at the past year, we have had some good times and some quiet times."
There were plans to set up laser tag at the arcade before it closed.
"Things would have been different if we would have been able to set up laser tag at the arcade within the timeframe that we had in mind. Unfortunately, it came after the due date," he said.
"We certainly had all the elements for success but due to circumstances out of our control, it we were unable to capitalise on it."
The arcade has several high-end retro machines, the big Daytonas and two Sega Rallies. Some of the machines are close to 700kg.
It also has a huge collection of shooters, Lethal Weapon and Mario 2s, lots of racing games, a pinball machine and a fishing game for younger kids.
