Pedestrians along Goldsmith Street are doing a second take as they approach the Lieder Theatre.
A mosaic and 'welcome mat', created by regional artist, Cayla Pothan has sprung up, adding even more character to the historic facility.
Treasurer Sarah Harris said the artwork was made possible by funding from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust, Southern Tablelands Arts and a private donor. Goulburn Mulwaree Council assisted with construction.

Ms Pothan took inspiration from the 1929 Art Deco building and its stained glass window motifs.
She is best known for her Tootsie Cafe at Yass, where she displays her colourful artworks and runs art workshops.
The mosaic was acknowledged and celebrated at the Lieder's 2022 season launch and information night on Thursday, December 2.
