The club put up a post on Facebook on Sunday morning, thanking patrons of the event.
“What a great night, thank you everyone for coming along and helping to raise some much needed [money] for our Rep girls,” the club said.
It also congratulated the Unicorn Sparkles team, who were the overall winners of the trivia contest which was the highlight of the night.
In a previous interview, club president Buddy Ahearn said that he was blown away by the support shown by the local businesses, and the true extent of that support was made clear on Saturday with the prizes on offer.
Included among the prizes were free gym memberships, gift vouchers, and luxury packages which lucky netballers had the opportunity to win.
The event was held as a way to raise money for the club’s representative players who have a full calendar lined up for the year and need assistance to afford the travel expenses involved with representing Goulburn.
The rep girls will be looking to attend the State Age Carnival, which is “the pinnacle of their year’s work” Ahearn said.
